Join us in Dortmund, Germany or Sydney, Australia for the Queer Ruralities International Workshop Series!

These workshops will explore the material, political, and cultural realities of queer people who engage in paid or unpaid farming, fishing, or agricultural labor and/or are living and working in regional, rural, and coastal areas. We will also attend to the application of queer methodologies to rural life and livelihoods.

If you are an academic, development professional, and/or work with an NGO or community-based organization and have experience working with queer rural communities, please consider applying!

Applications are open for in-person and online places for the TU Dortmund University (Germany) and University of New England (UNE) Parramatta Campus (Sydney) workshops. The workshops are free to attend online or in person. Some travel and accommodation funding is available for a limited number of applicants based on their circumstances.
