Dr. Anike Krämer invited as an expert on Intersex
Anike Krämer has been invited to participate as an expert at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) on 3 November 2025.
As part of the European campaign #EuropeGoesPurple, Dr. Anike Krämer will discuss the implementation of the new Council of Europe recommendation on the equality of intersex people with other experts from academia, politics, and practice.
The recommendation, which was adopted in October 2025, is the first international legal instrument to explicitly address the human rights of intersex people.
