Keynote at the spring conference of the DGS Family Sociology Section

Prof. Dr. Mona Motakef and Prof. Dr. Christine Wimbauer (Humboldt University of Berlin) gave a keynote speech on the tension between paid and care work.

The spring conference of the Family Sociology Section of the German Sociological Association (DGS) took place at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg from March 20-21, 2025 on the topic of “Turning away from the classic breadwinner model? In the field of tension between paid work and care work”. On the second day of the conference, Prof. Dr. Mona Motakef, together with Prof. Dr. Christine Wimbauer, gave a keynote speech on the topic of “Precarious work, precarious life contexts - an expanded perspective on unequal gender and working conditions”.
