Anike Krämer talks about Inter* during diversity month

Diversity Talk – Congratulations! It’s a… Baby!
Everyday Experiences of Parents of Intersex Children
What does it mean for parents to have an intersex child? How does the gender order shape their experiences, decisions, and daily lives? In this talk, I present key findings from my sociological research on parents of intersex children. Drawing on interviews and case analyses, I explore how parents navigate societal norms—negotiating between medical diagnoses, gendered knowledge, and personal decisions.
Dr. Anike Krämer (TU Dortmund) invites you to join a conversation about intersex*, gender, normativity, and parental negotiation processes.
