Department of Social Sciences cooperates with IAB in the Graduate Programme (GradAB) in qualitative methods training
The Institute for Employment Research in Nuremberg (IAB), together with its university cooperation partners FAU Erlangen and TU Dortmund University, is inviting applications for seven doctoral scholarships for labour market, occupational and social policy research as part of its GradAB graduate programme. The deadline for applications is 15 March 2024, with funding starting on 1 October 2024. In addition to supervision of the dissertation and a monthly grant of currently 1,600 euros, the programme includes specific further training modules, funding for publications and conference participation and, if applicable, separately remunerated practical research work. The invitation is aimed at outstanding graduates from economics, sociology and other social sciences who are empirically involved in issues relevant to the IAB's field of research.
