Dr. Stefanie Aunkofer Receives Award for her Dissertation in the Field of Qualitative Family Research
Dr. Stefanie Aunkofer has received the award for the best qualification thesis (2020-2021) of the Qualitative Family Research Network based at the FernUniversität Hagen for her dissertation. The award-winning thesis is being released as a monograph entitled "Väter in Elternzeit. (Non-)Recognition of Family and Gainful Employment Work among Couples" with Beltz Juventa. The award winner works as a research assistant in the Equal Opportunities Office at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Kleve, and in the coordination of audit familiengerechte hochschule. She completed her doctoral degree under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Christine Wimbauer and Prof. Dr. Mona Motakef at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her dissertation is based on research she conducted in the MERCUR-funded project "Väter in Elternzeit. Negotiation and Decision Processes between Couple Relationship and Workplace" (Headed by: Prof. Ilse Lenz, Prof. Dr. Michael Meuser, Prof. Dr. Katja Sabisch, Prof. Dr. Christine Wimbauer).
