New Issue of "feministische studien" (fs)

Prof. Mona Motakef, together with Prof. Elisabeth Klaus (University of Salzburg), edited issue 1/2025 of "feministische studien" (fs) entitled “Articulations of Class and Gender.”

At a time when social inequalities are increasing worldwide, precariousness is spreading, and distribution struggles are reigniting, the category of class is once again finding its way into social analyses, political debates, and artistic discussions. Issue 1/2025 of feministische studien (feminist studies) addresses the relevance of gender and gender relations when speaking in the name of “class.” It combines current feminist studies on the articulations of class and gender with contributions from classics of gender studies such as Regina Becker-Schmidt. This issue focuses in particular on the positions and articulations of those who deal with devaluation and structural disadvantage in gendered class relations in a scientific or artistic way.

The issue is published in open access. More information:
